Cinnamon Rolls

This recipe is a family favorite for 17 years now you"ll never buy bakery again

Cinnamon Rolls2 cups flour
4tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 TBSP sugar
½ cup margarine
1 egg in a 1 cup measure topped up to the 3/4 mark with milk.
1 tsp vanilla
pre-heat oven 400 combine all dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl cut in the margarine pour in wet ingredients stir until incorporated kneed lightly adding flour if needed roll out into a 10 "x13 "
spread 1/4 cup soft butter over top.
In a small bowl mix ½ cup brown sugar and 2 Tsp cinnamon sprinkle evenly over butter
roll up cut each ½ "thick place in a cake pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes
cool and top with an icing sugar glaze.

Icing Sugar Glaze
2 tablespoons milk,
1/4 teaspoon vanilla, lemon or other extract,
1 cup icing sugar
Stir the liquid into the sugar, adding more, a few drops at a time, as needed. The icing is of the proper consistency when it coats the spoon.
