bran muffins


Preheat oven 400
line muffin pan w/ liners
1cup all bran cereal
1 1/2 cups milk
in a large bowl set aside for 5 minutes.
add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 egg mix with a fork.


In a small bowl combine:
1 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon baking powder
1/4teaspoon cinnamon.
add dry ingredients into wet.
stir only until wet DO NOT OVER MIX. divide batter evenly into muffin cups. bake 20 minutes

I made these muffins and they were the best bran muffins I have found yet!!

so glad you liked them for bran muffins with high tops, if you preheat the oven to 500°F first and then drop it back to 400°F the moment you place the muffins in the oven, they rise into the rounded dome shape instead of staying flat.
